On March 13, the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council for COVID-19 Response (Medical Supplies Guarantee Group) sent a letter to Hunan Yourfield Special Protective Equipment Co., Ltd., thanking the company for its outstanding contribution in ensuring the supply of medical supplies. Cao Jiongfang, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, recently issued instructions stating that this is both an honor for the company and a source of pride for Xiangtan.
The letter of thanks states: “Your company has completed the national allocation of 23,000 sets of standard-compliant medical protective suits, making a remarkable contribution to our victory in the fight against the epidemic. On this occasion, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to your company. We hope that your company will continue to strive for excellence and achieve even greater successes in our ongoing efforts to secure a comprehensive victory over the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Before February this year, Hunan Province had no manufacturers of medical protective suits. Prior to the Spring Festival, the national daily output of standard medical protective suits was less than 10,000. Under the severe epidemic prevention and control situation, as a manufacturer and seller of special protective equipment, Hunan Yourfield undertook the critical task of urgently converting its production to medical protective suits. On February 3, Yourfield obtained Hunan Province’s first medical device manufacturing license during the epidemic. Subsequently, the governments of Xiangtan and Shaoshan, along with relevant departments, provided strong support. In just six days, Hunan Yourfield leased over 1,400 square meters of factory space from a medical device manufacturer in Shaoshan, renovated it into a new production facility for medical protective suits, and became the first enterprise in Hunan Province capable of producing protective suits for use in red-zone areas.
As of March 14, Yourfield had produced nearly 270,000 sets of national-standard medical protective suits, providing strong support for domestic epidemic prevention and control. Currently, Yourfield’s daily output of disposable medical protective suits has reached 11,000 pieces, with a steady stream of overseas orders. According to authoritative assessments, both the materials and seams of its products fully meet the national standards—by a significant margin compared with those of well-known international brands.
