What is quality Disposable Isolation Coveralls
There are currently no national and industry standards for quality Disposable Isolation Coveralls. The American standard ASTM F3352-19[1] defines medical isolation gowns as, in the case of patient isolation, used to protect medical staff, visitors and patients from microorganisms and Protective clothing (clothing) for transfer of bodily fluids. Medical isolation gowns can also be used to protect visitors in healthcare settings. In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Isolation Prevention Guidelines, during surgery and patient care activities, wear medical gowns to protect healthcare workers' arms and exposed body areas when contact with clothing, blood, body fluids, secretions, and excreta is expected.
The quality Disposable Isolation Coveralls are widely used in the intensive care unit (ICU), infectious disease department and infectious disease hospital of general hospitals. Currently, there are two types of medical isolation gowns in clinical use: disposable and non-disposable. Disposable medical isolation gowns are more expensive, and a lot of use will cause a lot of waste. There are many problems with non-disposable medical isolation gowns: the collar, cuffs, and abdomen are easily contaminated, which reduces the use time of the medical isolation gown; there are defects in the design of the cuffs, backs, and bottoms, which are easy to contaminate staff work clothes; Waterproof, etc. Studies have shown that there are many factors that cause nosocomial infections. Among them, the direct contact infection route is that medical staff and accompanying staff transmit pathogenic microorganisms or infectious substances that they colonize themselves to patients through contact, causing infection, and medical staff wearing medical isolation clothing can effectively prevent infection. and control the occurrence of nosocomial infections.
Quality Disposable Isolation Coveralls are designed to protect healthcare workers, patients and visitors from blood, body fluids and other potentially infectious materials during patient care or patient treatment. The main emphasis here is on blood and body fluids, and there is no mention of viruses that are transmitted through the air.
